The Bearcats do appear to be moving the ball better on offense, but they’re still taking too many bad shots, as indicated by their current 35.3 percent shooting. On the plus side, they’re 5-for-5 from the line.

The new-look Bearcats are off to a slow start offensively. They’re 1-for-6 from the field, including 0-for-2 by Yancy Gates, who was replaced by Biggie McClain less than three minutes into the game. Gates is back now.

Why All Is Not Yet Lost
There has been a ton of criticism leveled at Butch Jones and the way that he has conducted himself and the program. Some of the criticism of him and his staff is somewhat justified. His staff has been slow to grasp what kind of personel they have.
