Jaime Garcia part 2
The Reds have faced Jaime Garcia already this early season and hopefully they can get the win against him again tonight. In two games this season he has thrown his 81 mph change-up 41 times (24.4%) 53.7% of them being strikes, 46% swing, 24% whiff and...

Reds career 0-2 count
I wanted to see how the Reds are doing this season when they are down 2 strikes and decided to put some information in a post about how well the current players have done in their careers with that count. Cincinnati Reds 0-2 counts (4/1/2007 – 4/17/2012)...

St. Louis (1177) vs. Cincinnati (1088)
St. Louis and Cincinnati have faced each other many times over many years and I just found out that St. Louis is winning the battle with 1177 wins to Cincinnati’s 1088 but that is all about to change in the near future. [Source] First game: 1882-07-29...

Kyle Lohse part 2
Cincinnati Reds will be facing St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kyle Lohse for the second time this season and I thought I would look more into what happened last game that made Lohse win over Mike Leake. Cardinals 3 – Reds 1 I can tell you I have had the...

A little help from their friends
I thought I would list some links to Cincinnati Reds farm teams today. I, like so many other fans out there like to check in on the younger players in the organization. The Reds have a great bunch of talent at every level this year and it should not be...

I still see lots of potential in this team
It was a tough loss today for Cincinnati Reds against Washington Nationals but there were a few things I liked. First off, Homer Bailey did not lose focus too much during the game. You could see when he started to nibble at the plate it all started to...

Great game
It didn’t turn out the way the Reds wanted but it was a great game to watch. I am very happy that the season has started and of course a few times I have already second guessed some of the moves made by the Cincinnati Reds but I have really enjoyed all...

If I had one wish from Walt Jocketty…
If I had one wish from Cincinnati Reds General Manager Walt Jocketty it would be to trade Drew Stubbs and Homer Bailey right now. I know lately I have really been picking on these two guys but I am getting very tired of seeing them play. Especially having...
